Lianne Ames

Director

Lianne Ames began her professional performing career as a singer/dancer at the Promised Valley Playhouse in Salt Lake City. She then took on the lead role of Belle Davenport in a historical play in Skagway, Alaska. Lianne earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Dance Theater from Brigham Young University, where she starred in main stage productions, including Florence in "Chess" and Anne in "The Merry Wives of Windsor." She has also toured with the Brigham Young University Young Ambassadors.

Lianne's numerous accolades include first place in the Kansas City Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singers and a Blue Cappy Award for Best Choreography in a high school musical in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. She has choreographed for various college, community, and high school productions, such as "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," "Oklahoma," "Hello Dolly," and "Once Upon a Mattress." Additionally, she choreographed for Central Missouri State University's show choir troupe.

Together with her husband, Lianne owned and operated the Salmon Valley Playhouse in Salmon, Idaho, where they produced shows like "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" and "Hansel and Gretel." Over the course of more than 30 seasons, Lianne has directed, co-directed, or performed in "The Nutcracker."

In 2002, she was invited to co-direct American Rhythm with Twilla Mann. By 2023, Twilla and Lianne had grown large enough to establish folk groups of their own. Lianne now travels locally and internationally with her own team, American Rhythm. 

 

Currently, Lianne and her husband own Legacy Performing Arts Academy in Roosevelt, Utah, where she continues to teach ballet and music/dance/theater, a passion she has cherished for over 35 years.

Max and Jessica

Choreographers/Dancers

Max and Jessica met while performing at folk festivals. Max began dancing at the age of 2, enrolled in his mom's ballet classes. He started clogging at age 3 and has been dancing ever since. Since 2011, they have been touring internationally, showcasing their talents at dance festivals across Europe, including performances in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

Both Max and Jessica grew up immersed in the world of dance and musical theatre, developing strong foundations in singing, dancing, and acting from an early age. Their diverse talents have made them versatile performers, capable of captivating audiences with their dynamic stage presence and artistic expression.
